Business Development Manager General Description:

On behalf of our client, a well-established European company operating in the delivery of products for high-tech critical communication and safety industry, we are currently seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager, who will be responsible for promoting the products of the business, driving growth, and expanding the company’s market presence in the electrical engineering industry, in Cyprus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Business Development:
    1. Identify and pursue business opportunities in the electrical engineering sector, especially PA/VA, Security or Building Technologies industry
    2. Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s market share and customer base, distributors, system integrators and key accounts
    3. Manage the sales pipeline and drive the conversion of leads to successful contracts.
  2. Sales & Marketing:
    1. Design and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
    2. Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
    3. Leverage and promote reference projects to drive Ambient System’s visibility in the market
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    1. Provide excellent customer service through prompt and accurate support and advice
    2. Develop long-lasting partner relationships by understanding the partners’ business needs
  4. Product/Service Expertise:
    1. Utilize electrical, technical engineering knowledge to effectively communicate technical aspects of products and services to potential clients.
  5. Reporting:
    1. Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market feedback.
Skills and specifications:
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, products, and services.
  • Proven sales and marketing experience in a technical field, ideally within electrical engineering, PA/VA, Security or Building Technologies industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to non-technical clients.
  • Door-opener to decision makers and able to handle high value commercial negotiations
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in market research and competitive analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience of 5 years in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the electrical engineering sector.
  • Experience in managing and executing business development strategies to achieve measurable results.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, trends, and technologies is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Very good English language skills
Renumeration:
